My lifelong interest in, and love for, creating beautiful, meaningful, and functional surroundings drew me to the world of interiors. I believe a home should be life affirming and life enhancing. When meeting with clients, I first learn about who they are—their values and aspirations, the world they inhabit now and where they want to be. This discovery process provides me with a foundation from which design concepts grow and authentically manifest as elegant expressions of you.

I enjoy helping clients create a background, a context for cherished items that reflect both their history and their vision for the future. My goal is to work with you to build a place for you and your family to live, to gather, to rest, to focus, to dream, and to be surrounded by things loved. I believe that finding beauty, and creating environments rooted in your ideals becomes a source of comfort, joy and peace

APPROACH

While my principles remain grounded in the rigors of an intensive four-year Interior Design Baccalaureate (Mount Vernon College, Washington, DC), my aesthetics have been shaped by working with discerning clients over decades. My approach has evolved into a style that blends the classic with the contemporary to create a sense of cozy luxury. Inviting furnishings, lush fabrics, rich textures, carefully selected art and serene palettes feel approachable and intimate in your home because they are intrinsically customized to you.

PROCESS

We guide clients through the process with detailed concepts, plans, schedules and estimates. We have relationships with DC’s most experienced and renowned craftspeople, artisans, framers, carpenters, contractors—resources and vendors that help bring your project to its fully realized vision.
